Sally Mann is a photographer who often took questionable pictures of her family around their farm. Often times, the photographer's work was very controversial as far as would it be considered as child exploitation. She would photograph her children nude sometimes as well which would raise many opinions. Personally I believe Sally Mann's work has and always will be influential in my own work. For instance, the photography I like to shoot is typically strange and questionable, often makes you feel creepy. I like to take pictures of abandoned buildings that have been destroyed over the years. I feel that my work can relate to hers because it is questionable and can even make you feel uncomfortable depending how you think and feel about it. Overall, Sally Mann's work is beautiful and unique and will remain a huge influential factor on photography throughout time.
